Based in the vibrant Kentishtown of Erith, Meyer House Residential and Nursing Home is ideally placed close to the bustle of London but also close to the tranquility of Kent. Excellent road and rail connections make visiting easy and convenient.

Overview

Meyer House Care Home is a refurbished 2 storey building consisting of 28 rooms including 3 companion rooms all of which are light and airy and have en-suites. These rooms are designed to meet the needs of both Residential frail elderly and those whose needs require Nursing.

The dining room is a light, spacious communal area which is both comfortable and homely. Residents are served at the table with fresh, home cooked meals of their choice from a menu which reflects the resident’s likes and dislikes. Meals may also be eaten in the resident’s own room if they prefer.

Activities

We can also boast a cinema room with projector and screen and an activities room where an Activities Co-ordinator is employed to actively encourage residents to participate and pursue their hobbies and interests and trips are organised. Entertainment is organised within the Home to which relatives and friends are invited to share the fun & time with their family.

The conservatory is a place to enjoy the passing seasons in comfort and warmth, somewhere to quietly read, play cards with a friend, have a chat over a cup of tea or go outside and pot and plant in the raised flower beds, nurture tomatoes to grow or just sit back and watch!
