“Congratulations to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!”
Here at Loose Valley Care Home we celebrated the Royal Wedding with a very British afternoon tea, whilst watching the ceremony.
We decorated our lounge with union jack bunting, and staff and residents had kindly donated wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and pictures of their wedding ceremonies so we could display them for everyone to see!
Whilst waiting for the bride to emerge, we did a royal quiz and shared some wedding facts on wedding traditions in Britain and across the world.
Residents waved flags and sang the national anthem with pride. Congratulations to the happy couple!
