We’ve had another great week of smiles and laughter here at Abbotsleigh Care Home, as we enjoyed an array of festive activities.
Early in the week, we had fun smelling different seasonal smells and started to decorate our Christmas tree, which got us all in a festive mood!
We had lots of super one-to-one time with our ladies and gents, and our lovely hairdresser Sam paid us a visit.
On Wednesday, we enjoyed a communion service from our local church, which was followed by a great game of bingo in the afternoon, run by Phil.
Donna came in on Thursday and got us all up dancing for her Zumba class, which is always great fun, with rousing music! In the afternoon, we took some of our residents out for lunch at the Headcorn Tea Room.
Friday saw us busy with Christmas crafts which was followed by a visit from Kevin who came in to perform Christmas songs for us in the afternoon, which was a wonderful festive treat.
To top off our week, we spent the weekend making more Christmas decorations and putting them up all around our Home – so we are definitely getting set for the big day!
