We’ve been full of celebrations at Lulworth House Residential Care Home recently, as we’ve enjoyed two of our ladies’ birthdays – Pauline and Margaret.
As part of the fun, we made special birthday cakes which our residents and staff helped to decorate – yum!
For her special day, Pauline asked to go out shopping and for coffee, which she thoroughly enjoyed. In the afternoon we surprised her with an amazing fruit covered birthday cake, which she was delighted with.
Next it was Margaret’s 92nd birthday, which she spent with family and loved ones. She had lots of lovely cards and presents and enjoyed posing for photos!
Great British baking….
Our ladies at Lulworth House love taking the time to bake together. Baking is such a social and fun activity and we all enjoy the delicious results! We have recently decorated biscuits for tea and created some impressive fruit and chocolate covered flans, which have really got our appetites going!
