On Tuesday 9 October some of our residents from The Old Downs Residential Care Home ventured outside for tea and biscuits, in order to catch the last rays of sunshine before winter comes around!
They sat around our garden table and chatted with each other and Vira, our Recreation and Well-Being Lead, about the gardens and sunshine, discussing what they would like to do in the afternoon.
Our ladies really enjoyed the fresh air. Gladys commented, “Oh this is wonderful!” and Janet thought it was ‘lovely’.
