Here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home we celebrated Halloween last Wednesday with a brilliant spooky party.
All our staff dressed up for the occasion and joined in with our residents to play games including…. ‘What can you find in the gloop?‘, ‘The big taste challenge‘ and ‘Who can paint the scariest orange?“.
Some of our residents decided to try out some scary face paints, which they found a lot of fun!
At lunchtime, our ladies and gents enjoyed a special Halloween-themed buffet (with some spooky twists!) and then joined staff to dance to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’!
It was a fantastic day! Huge thanks to Vira our Recreation & Wellbeing Lead, Jodie our Activities Champion and Kellie our Chef for all their preparations – it was a truly memorable event and our residents, relatives and friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
