On Wednesday 5 December, we opened our doors to the wonderful children of Rodmersham Nursery here at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
At Woodstock, we love bringing different generations together and it was fantastic to see our residents enjoying skittle and parachute games with the children, and playing catch with a ball, which the children loved. The energy that the children bring is infectious and it’s so special to see such engagement and smiles from young and old.
Nursery visits have proved to be really successful at our Home and we hosted children from local Squirrel Nursery just last month. The sessions have become a firm favourite on our social calendar and a really positive way to build relationships with our local community.
We are very much looking forward to seeing the children again in the new year.
