All these Christmas preparations have been hard work so residents and staff at Woodstock Residential Care Home relaxed with a coffee morning on Thursday 20 December.
We played games including ‘Guess the weight of the cake’ and ‘Name the Teddy’ to raise money for the Residents’ Fund – so we can enjoy time in the garden in the summer. We held a tombola, sold cakes and refreshments on the cake stall, and we also had a craft stall selling items that the residents have been making over the past couple of weeks.
We all loved singing along to ‘Elvis’ and dancing the day away. We raised £225 – well done everyone!
