We had a great time celebrating Halloween at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home last week, and loved decking our Home with spooky decorations.
Our staff dressed up and we had a competition for the best dressed. Care Assistant Gemma O’Reilly won with her fantastic witches outfit (including broomstick!), which she wore all day long! She was delighted to win a tin of Heroes for her efforts.
Other brilliant outfits included an inflatable monster, witches, a blood stained nurse, perfectly painted pumpkin and a couple of spooky characters wielding an axe and chainsaw!!
We all enjoyed some vibrant entertainment from Chelsea Bella who played all sorts of music that our residents could enjoy and dance to from the 70s, 80s and early 90s.
To top off the celebrations, we were treated to a delicious spooky buffet.
