On Thursday 28 June we were excited to host our Hawaiian Summer BBQ at Woodstock Residential Care Home, welcoming residents, families and staff to join in the fun!
We were thrilled to get so many friends together for the fun day and lunch, which included burgers, hotdogs and chicken cooked on the BBQ, followed by ice-creams. Our residents enjoyed a morning of face painting and games while listening to party and drinking mocktails. Everyone looked so colourful in their Hawaiian garlands.
During the BBQ we were visited by the Mayor and Mayoress of Swales, who spent time soaking up the atmosphere and chatted to everyone.
To top off the day, we had a visit from an Elvis singer, who performed a selection of classic Elvis tunes, giving everyone the chance to get up and dance.
