On Friday 5 July we ventured out to King George’s Park in Sittingbourne, where we held a lovely picnic for our residents of Hengist Field Care Home.
We served sandwiches and fresh fruit, with cups of tea from the café at the park.
After lunch, we visited the café where our ladies and gents chose a cheeky ice-cream, yum!
Karen, our Recreation and Well-Being Co-ordinator did a wonderful job of keeping everyone entertained during the outing.
A really lovely day was had by all – you can’t beat a park picnic!
