On Wednesday 3 October some of our residents here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home joined together to make jam tarts from scratch!
With the help of Recreation & Well-Being lead Vira, they rolled pastry into tart moulds, placed them into the tray and filled them with different types of jam.
Our ladies then baked them in the oven and offered them to other residents at tea time – they were scrumptious.
Edna said, “They taste so delicious, we will have to make these again soon” and Margaret said, “This was fun”
