We took a group of our residents from Loose Valley Care Home back to Leeds Castle last week, after we ran out of time on our first visit recently! We were keen to return as there was so much to see.

We took a ride on the Black Swan ferry across a peaceful lake to visit the ‘Birds of Prey Centre‘, where all the beautiful birds were out on show – they were stunning!

We then visited a World War II exhibition, where we watched an educational (and emotional!) film called ‘Battle of the Skies‘, which explained the different types of planes active in wartime, the strategies behind British and German air attacks and how we managed to win the war.

To finish the day, we had a very scenic stroll and enjoyed a picnic. What a brilliant day together.
