Last week, we took a group of our residents from Lukestone Care Home to visit Capstone Farm Country Park in Chatham.
The park is a former farm which has been converted into a landscaped park and open-space area, set on 114 hectares of beautiful scenery, including a fishing lake.
We enjoyed the fresh air and glorious weather as we took a stroll together, pausing for rests and photos, and enjoying a coffee stop.
We also enjoyed popping along to Dobbie’s Garden Centre, which is a favourite of ours, as our residents really enjoy browsing the gifts.
As part of the outing we couldn’t resist a hearty fish and chip lunch together, which was delicious!
A super day out – we’re looking forward to going back again soon!
