Last week, we took a group of our residents from Lukestone Care Home to visit Aylesford Priory.
Set in the heart of Kent, the Priory is an ancient religious house of the Order of Carmelites, which dates back to the 13th century. For thousands of visitors it is a beautiful place of peace and prayer.
As part of our trip, we visited a pottery exhibition being held at the Priory which was very interesting. We also enjoyed some scrumptious scones with jam and clotted cream at the cafe.
It was a very picturesque place to visit and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the outing.
