On Friday 5 July, some of our ladies from Lulworth House Residential Care Home took a trip out in the sunshine to Maidstone Mote Park.
We all enjoyed the blue skies as we walked around the lake and stopped to enjoy a picnic together.
Mote Park is a dementia-friendly park; they have special benches which have pictures of animals on them and interactive buttons which make sounds – our ladies really enjoyed these.
Getting out for a picnic is one of our favourite activities, and we look forward to more park trips throughout the summer months.
