Last week at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, we were in full football swing with the FIFA World Cup nearing its climax.
Our residents enjoyed cheering the England team on with their home made flags and (despite the final score!) there was a great atmosphere in our Home.
During the week, we took a group of our residents for a walk to our town centre for some shopping and we stopped at the Maidstone museum for some very welcome coffee and cake. When we were in town, we passed a busker who was playing his guitar and entertaining shoppers. We stopped and appreciated his music for a while – and he appreciated an audience!
With the week’s lovely weather, our residents Joyce and John took the opportunity to get out and about together around our Home. Long may these pleasant summer days continue!
