As part of Dementia Action Week (21-27 May) our group of Nellsar Care Home teams used a whole host of creative ways to involve residents, their families and friends, and members of the local community, in entertaining fundraising activities to raise valuable funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Martin Barrett, Managing Director, proudly presented a representative from the charity (pictured centre) with a giant cheque on Thursday 5 July at St Winifreds Care Centre in Deal.
As champion fundraisers across our group of Homes for this event, the staff at St Winifreds were awarded a stunning glass trophy, which Nicola Masters, Home Manager (pictured above right) gratefully received on behalf of her team.
Well done to everyone involved – a truly amazing effort for such a great cause.
