We are always proud to celebrate the work and achievements of our fantastic team members and showcase the advancements we’ve made across our 13 Nellsar Care Homes in Kent, Surrey, and Essex. The Nellsar News is our group newsletter, published three times a year. Our latest edition is our biggest yet, packed with updates from across our Homes and teams.
Corporate News
In our ‘Corporate News’ section, we feature an exciting update on our digital transformation progress, including recent successes and future plans, from our Digital Transformation Manager Leo Mathew.
We also hear from our Quality Development and Innovation Manager Lumi Mandache, who shares insights into Nellsar’s ongoing commitment to team member well-being and our sustainability journey – aimed at reducing environmental impact while fostering a shared sense of connection and purpose among our teams.
We take a closer look at how our Rehabilitation Services are making a positive impact on residents’ lives, and how our Physiotherapists are becoming a cornerstone of daily care within our Homes. Our brilliant Nellsar apprentices are also in the spotlight, as our Head of Learning and Development Marisa Spice celebrates their learning journeys and study achievements.
Additional highlights include a look at how our investment in recruitment has significantly improved team member retention, and recognition of our long-serving team members, many of whom have dedicated 5, 10, or over 20 years of service to Nellsar. In ‘Chef’s Corner’, Head Chef Jack from Meyer House reflects on joining Nellsar in March and how he finds deep satisfaction in cooking for his residents. We also feature Adelina, Nellsar’s new Residents Dining Experience Lead, who is championing quality dining experiences across our Homes.
