We are delighted to announce that Christine Foster, our wonderful Recreation and Well-Being Manager at Princess Christians Care Home, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the South East Great British Care Awards, in the ‘Frontline Leaders Award’ category.
The Awards will take place on Tuesday 8 October 2019 at The Hilton in Brighton.
The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
There are twenty one awards categories available for nomination, which represent all areas of the social care sector, whether it be older people or specialist services, residential or home care. From frontline staff such as care workers and care managers, to people who have made an impact in other ways such as training and innovation. (www.care-awards.co.uk)
Christine leads a team of Recreation and Well-Being Champions who provide person-centred social activities for over 90 residents at Princess Christian.
Christine’s dedication to her role and her team is inspiring and she is full of energy, fun and great ideas. Our residents and staff love her cheery and compassionate personality.
