On Friday 26 October some of our residents from The Old Downs Residential Care Home gathered together to make a start on creating poppies for Remembrance Day 2018.
They used paper, paint, pens and pencils to make their poppies. Once dried, they are going to complete them.
Our ladies really enjoyed being creative together – and we are looking forward to seeing their finished poppies, which will be the perfect tribute for this special year of Remembrance.
