On Sunday 11 November, residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home celebrated Remembrance Day with poppy making – creating large, eye-catching poppies from card and coloured tissue paper.
They also enjoyed completing a 1st World War commemorative jigsaw puzzle, featuring the famous ‘Your Country Needs You‘ wartime image.
Our ladies and gents watched a live television Remembrance broadcast and took part in the two-minute silence.
