As the nation came together to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee last week, staff, residents and their families across our 13 Nellsar Care Homes were in high spirits as they enjoyed an array of wonderful Jubilee parties.
Our Recreation and Well-Being Teams planned and prepared amazing decorations and entertainment to make sure they gave their residents a ‘right royal’ long weekend of red, white and blue bunting, fantastic music and dancing, games and even a visit from a royal or two!
Meanwhile, our talented Chefs and Catering Teams worked wonders with incredible buffet food, BBQs, beautiful afternoon teas and some magnificent Jubilee celebration cakes. It was wonderful to see loved ones coming together to share the very special occasion.
Residents across our Homes enjoyed reminiscing about the Queen’s coronation and their experiences of street parties; such fondness for Queen Elizabeth and gratitude for her 70 years on the throne.
What a wonderful long weekend of joy and celebration – congratulations to her majesty!
