School choir visit The Old Downs Residential Care Home

On Thursday 13 December, our residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home had a special visit from some of the children from Our Lady of Hartley Catholic primary school.

The children sang some beautiful Christmas songs for our residents and also brought in some mince pies for everyone, which was a lovely treat. They were so well organised and our residents very much enjoyed the songs.

The children enjoyed some crisps, biscuits and juice with our residents after their hard work and really seem to enjoy our Chef Kellie’s home made cakes! Thank you Kellie!

Many thanks to all the children and teachers who attended and to Mr Baker the Head Teacher for organising the visit.

We look forward to our next visit from the school in the new year.
