We were delighted to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning Fundraiser here at Sonya Lodge Care Home on Friday 27 September.
Our residents, relatives and staff enjoyed a wonderful morning chatting over tea and coffee, and tucking into a scrumptious choice of cakes. We had a mixture of homemade and store bought cakes, donated by relatives, and our Manager Jean also purchased some to add to our impressive table!
Such a delicious way to raise money for a very good cause! All the generous donations we received, including £1 from each of our staff, totalled a fantastic £226.40 for the charity – the highest amount we have raised at this fund raising event.
We were very well supported by staff and relatives – thank you to everyone who came along!
