Happiness is al fresco dining…
On Sunday 5 August some of our residents here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home enjoyed their Sunday lunch in the garden as the weather was so nice. They tucked into a full traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings and ice-cream for afters, while enjoying the wonderful views of the countryside and listening to some 60s music.
It’s been said that eating food outdoors makes it taste infinitely better than the same meal prepared and consumed indoors – the change of scenery and the fresh air somehow stimulate the senses and heighten the enjoyment of your meal.
