Mum has Lewy bodies dementia, we cared for her at home for many years, in the end, it was becoming just too much. I have found the staff at Bromley Park kind and caring, the lunches are always very nice with fresh vegetables and they have a range of activities which go on, some of which mum takes part in. They have a lovely garden and they make full use of it in the summer. The management has always reacted to any concerns I have had (which happens because that is what life and dementia is like) promptly and professionally. The manager has an open door policy and always makes time to talk. They have excellent nurses who go the extra mile and work hard to support the residents and their needs. There is no perfect residential home (if mum knew where she was, she would prefer to be in her own little annexe), but the staff at Bromley Park try their best to make it homely and cater to each resident’s needs. We feel very lucky to have found them.
