We love inviting entertainers in to see us and our residents were thrilled to welcome a performer from Tickled Pink Productions to Abbotsleigh Care Home recently.
He entertained us all with his theatre act ‘Old Time Musical‘, which featured some favourite musical songs. The performer was so engaging with our residents and really involved them in the show – singing with them at the microphone and pretending to take selfies together whilst singing along to the music.
It was lovely to see such connection through music and we all had a super time together.
We’ve also been busy again in the garden, with Barbara, Esme and Jenny getting their hands dirty in the front garden potting plants. Great work ladies!
And we’ve also had birthday cakes galore recently, with three resident birthdays; June turned 91, Frank W turned 89 and Frank B turned 91. We really enjoyed celebrating each one with decorations and fun. Many happy returns to them!
