On Wednesday 4 April we were treated to a fantastic show from ‘Tickled Pink’ Productions at Abbotsleigh Care Home. We had a very large gathering of residents and family in our dining area, which we had cleared of tables and chairs to fit everybody in!
The theme of the production was ‘Broadway Musicals’. The singing was excellent, together with some wonderful acting, tap dancing and colourful costume changes. The Tickled Pink ladies got our residents involved by giving out props and song books. We all enjoyed a sing along!
Afterwards, the two ladies who entertained us spent time greeting each resident, and were so kind and smiling. They connected so well with our ladies and gents, some of whom find it difficult to communicate. They said they really enjoyed entertaining us and were so pleased to see such a large audience.
