On Tuesday 20 August, we were pleased to welcome a group of young adults from the National Citizen Service (NCS) to Woodstock Residential Care Home.
The NCS is a programme for 15 to 17 year olds which provides a platform to help individuals develop new skills, take on new challenges and meet new people, whilst giving something back to their local community.
The group came to our Home to help serve tea and coffee and have a chat with our ladies and gents. They kindly brought in some homemade cakes for everyone which were delicious!
Our residents very much enjoyed spending time with such an engaging group of teenagers.
