We had a very enjoyable creative crafts session last week at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
We printed a picture of a man swimming in the middle of a shoal of fish, then encouraged our residents to use craft materials to create a feel of the area around the water’s edge, which gave depth to the view looking down at the water. We gave our residents a choice of scenes to use, including a beach.
We used transparent glue, felt, safety scissors, pebbles, pot pourri, stickers and imitation plants to create a real feel of the landscape.
Our residents thoroughly enjoyed it and we were delighted with the range of different three dimensional scenes created.
