Caring with compassion since 1988

We are very proud of the care services and support we provide to our residents and their families across our 13 Care Homes in Kent, Surrey and Essex. We really value feedback from those who have experienced our Homes first-hand as this helps us to continually develop and improve.

Abbotsleigh Care Home, Staplehurst

Dad was at Abbotsleigh Care Home for just over two years whilst suffering from both Parkinson's disease and dementia. He was always treated with such respect and care throughout his time with them, always positive, always encouraging and really welcoming us (as relatives) to their extended family. We cannot thank them highly enough for the end-of-life care they gave to dad and the support they gave to us was exceptional during this sad time. We would highly recommend this Care Home.

Bromley Park Care Home, Bromley

My wife spent eleven months at Bromley Park Care Home. Throughout, I was always impressed with the care provided to all residents. I visited three times a week at random times and I only have positive thoughts about the care shown to every resident.

Hengist Field Care Home, Sittingbourne

I have decided to keep my sister here in Hengist Field because the care, love and cleanliness are second-to-none. It is a very nice Care Home and I can go home and know that my sister is safe and that she is fully cared for, for her dignity and her welfare. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to achieve this.

Loose Valley Care Home, Maidstone

A very good place to be here. I am not able to think of a better place to be, it feels as if I am in my own home. We have day trips, we have entertainment. Overall it's well-run, the staff and management are very good.

Lukestone Care Home, Maidstone

From the time mum entered Lukestone Care Home to the day that she passed away, she was cared for with dignity, respect and love. She had nursing needs which the Home met to a very consistent and high standard. This meant that mum, who in the latter stages could not articulate her feelings, was always clean, comfortable and pain-free. We are very grateful to every member of staff – Office staff, Maintenance staff, Carers, Nurses, Managers and Activity staff members who all work so hard to provide such a lovely atmosphere and Home for their residents. I would definitely recommend Lukestone to anyone considering placing their loved one there.

Lulworth House Residential Care Home, Maidstone

My mother-in-law has been a resident in Lulworth House for two years, following a stroke which left her unable to stay in her own home. The care she has received at Lulworth is outstanding. It is a medium-sized Home, with a real family atmosphere. All the carers have been kindness itself and have shown mum genuine affection, treating her with dignity and compassion. My wife and I have forged a close relationship with all the care staff. The leadership is strong and there is an atmosphere of calm throughout the Home. In two years we have found nothing of concern, or cause for complaint, and mum has been happy here. Several relatives of other patients have said much the same in conversations we have had with them.

Meyer House Care Home, Dartford

My mum arrived at Meyer House Care Home last Thursday and has been made very welcome. The staff are lovely, and mum has a smile back on her face for the first time in ages. Thank you.

Princess Christian Care Home, Surrey

My husband spent a pleasant two weeks of respite care at Princess Christian recently. He was treated with great respect, courtesy and care by all the staff. The atmosphere was always warm and comfortable with varied activities for the residents. The family were most grateful.

Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home, Essex

Our auntie has been treated with dignity since she has been here. During her stay, the staff have managed to clear a leg ulcer that she previously had for over six years. She has also been encouraged to do tasks like personal hygiene and dressing herself. The activities that are organised are very thoughtful and help and encourage the residents. I am full of admiration for the staff that are marvellous.

Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, Dartford

My mother has been a resident at Sonya Lodge Care Home for almost a year. In all that time, I have found the Home to be excellent. The staff are attentive, engaged and caring towards residents and their families. Communication with staff is always outstanding, queries or questions answered quickly and sensitively. I am always kept fully up to date with mum's wellbeing, medications and behaviours. Activities at the Home are fun, engaging, and plentiful. My mother is always encouraged to participate, but never forced. When visiting my mother, she is always clean, warm and well dressed. All the staff know her personally and I feel I can talk to any of them about mum and they all have a personal connection with her. Her room is bright, always clean and tidy. I live 100 miles away so only visit once a fortnight, but I feel confident that mum is receiving the best care and I have no worries about her at all. Sonya Lodge was a great decision for me and most of all for my mum.

St Winifreds Care Home, Deal

They are looking after him very well and keeping him safe, making sure he doesn't fall. The nursing staff are knowledgeable and proactive in treating infections early, to prevent hospital stays.

The Old Downs Residential Care Home, Dartford

Having spent respite care at The Old Downs I feel fortunate my husband was accepted to remain in residential Alzheimer's care. He settled in so well and this is due to the ambience of the Home, the professional care he receives and all the staff who go above and beyond to socialise with every resident. I am always made so welcome when I visit my husband and when we sit together in the conservatory or weather permitting the garden overlooking the downs, we both feel content. Thank you to all concerned for making this possible after what has been a stressful 10+ years on my husband's Alzheimer's journey.

Woodstock Residential Care Home, Sittingbourne

My mum and I visited Woodstock with a view to respite care in the future. We were met by the Manager who went above and beyond to show us around, answer any questions and put our minds at ease. All employees and residents we spoke to praised the service which was very reassuring.
