My mother has been a resident at Abbotsleigh for 7 months. She was very unsettled when she arrived due to her dementia diagnosis but as a result of the treatment she has received she is now thriving and enjoying her new home. The staff are very patient with Mum and I am extremely happy with the care and support she is being given by all team members. Overall I am very impressed with the home and would be happy to recommend it to anyone. Thank you to all staff and management for Mum's continuing care.

Manager and staff are helpful and friendly, good atmosphere and appearance. When my partner went in, she looked happy there and I've seen no sign of a change in that. Cooks also look like people who care about their work. NHS supported this home. This home appears to be miles better than the other care home that my father was in, despite that being suggested by his GP.

My mother-in-law was a resident here for six months, she sadly passed away in February this year. I can honestly say her care was outstanding. The support workers were very caring towards my mother-in-law, the activity coordinators were very enthusiastic, and the kitchen staff always made sure residents were happy with their meals and often changed them to suit individuals. The housekeepers were very pleasant, always having a chat with my mother-in-law when putting her clean clothes away. The ladies at reception were always willing to help with a smile, the hairdresser always engaged with the residents. The nurses were professional and one of them always kept us up to date with any concerns we had. The managers were very easy to talk to and were involved with residents. I loved that they knew all their names, such a personal touch, and the volunteers gave up their own time to sit and chat with residents. I hope I haven't forgotten anyone, a credit to you all.

My dad has gone to Loose Valley for respite care and I have been very impressed by how the team has worked so hard to make him welcome. He had not seen my mum for nine months and with the team's help, we were able to get them together this week which was wonderful. My mum has been at Lukestone for almost a year. All the staff at the home are kind, caring and treat all the residents with kindness, respect, and dignity. When we visit mum, we are always asked if we would like tea or coffee. The nurses always keep us updated with how mum is getting on. We are free to visit whenever we like and are often invited to any events that are planned at the Home. I would be happy to recommend the Home to anyone.

Very happy with the care mum receives. The staff are amazing and look after all of mum's needs. She is very happy here. Her room is always spotless and she always looks clean and she smiles a lot. The staff are friendly and talk to the residents with respect.

Thank you to everyone who looked after my husband. I was very happy for him to stay at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home. When we walked in, we were made very welcome. All the staff were happy to see us. His room was lovely, with the view, and comfortable. The food was excellent. He felt at home and was happy to be left there for a week. The Manager was very supportive of both of us. We would come to Silverpoint again – excellent.

Two years ago we unfortunately had to put our dear dad into care; after a lot of research we were lucky to find Sonya Lodge. It was a tough start for my dad but the staff never gave up on him, they treated him so kindly and got to know his triggers to disruptive behaviour. Sadly he had skin cancer which they dealt with brilliantly and always got him to hospital appointments on time, they supported us as a family with the difficult decisions and outcomes. Sadly dad passed away in March but the love and care shown to him and to us was so special at that time especially, it's a huge comfort that he was able to die in his Home surrounded by the absolutely wonderful staff – whether it's senior staff, housekeeping or dining room staff, they're the kindest, most caring people. Their love helped us through such a sad time. I so miss seeing the online photos of what my dad had been up to with the many activities. I send everyone there my hugest love and best wishes, I miss you all. Thank you.

My mum was a resident of St Winifreds Care Home for a couple of months. She arrived not very enthusiastic but soon settled in and enjoyed the social element of this lovely Home. Her care was outstanding. She enjoyed a very varied menu with the food fresh on site. Sadly mum passed and she was treated with care and dignity. I can't thank St Winifreds Carers and staff enough.

I cannot praise The Old Downs enough. The staff are brilliant with my mum. Always discuss any concerns I have. I feel they really know mum well which is really reassuring. I know my mum is happy there and I can see the care to others. Truly amazing staff.
