The centre is attractive and designed in a welcomely but functional pattern. The staff are all welcoming, polite and organised by senior management staff. Requests are always addressed and prompt action taken when possible. Menus are adapted to resident's needs, medication and medical problems are promptly attended.

Very impressed with the care Mum has received. Staff are professional, patient with Mum and me and very caring.

After viewing a number of care homes in the area it was immediately apparent that Loose Valley Care Centre was the one that I wanted my mother to go to. It is set out as a large country house with beautiful grounds and does not have the feeling of an institution. After securing a place for my mother the staff made every effort to make sure that there was a smooth transfer from the hospital and that she was comfortably settled in. She has been there for a couple of years and the nursing care is excellent. They are very responsive to her particular care needs and she settled in very well. I would not hesitate to recommend Loose Valley to anyone looking for a safe and secure environment for a loved one to live.

I find the home organised. The staff are so caring and compassionate. My mum has been at Lukestone for seven months and I can see she is happy there.

My Mother-in-law has been at Lulworth House since June 2018, much to the family's relief.... she appears physically healthier, is eating better and enjoying company and activities (especially music, singing, dancing and playing silly games!). The staff are caring and very approachable for families too, we feel we can voice any concerns to duty staff. Some changes to the decor of the home are gradually being made, to 'brighten up' Lulworth House. My husband and I are feeling the benefit of the support group meetings every 6 weeks.

My Family and I thank you so much for all of your care staff give my sister from the 16/01/19 – 17/02/19. My sister is with my mum, dad and my other sister in the land of no pain and free from the big C - CANCER.

My father was moved to Princess Christian Care Centre by the Community Mental Health Team from another care home because his dementia required greater security and specialist care. At all times every member of staff we met was professional, kind, compassionate and respectful; their care of my father took a huge weight off the family knowing that they understood his needs and that he was receiving appropriate care. The staff kept us fully involved throughout his time here, were always welcoming and treated him with great dignity at a difficult time. We will be forever grateful to all the staff - their love for him and us showed no bounds.

Now the lift is working, all I can say is what a difference in all aspects of Silverpoint. My dad is happy again as he can now access all areas of the home, moving around as he pleases independently. The team of amazing carers, as always, go above and beyond their duties making sure my dad's needs are always met. I look forward to seeing the home getting back to the homely place it once was décor wise.

My father moved into Sonya Lodge last summer n 2018 and has settled well. Staff are lovely and really care about the residents. Management are also lovely, they are always happy to listen to any concerns you may have and deal with any issues promptly. I am very happy with the care they provide and believe my father is safe and well looked after. The home has a welcoming, homely feel and after visiting many homes, this is by far one of the best available in north Kent. I would highly recommend this care home.

One of my dear friends was looking for a care home as he was not capable of looking after himself. This care centre was recommended. My friend is now getting top quality care 24/7. I found all the staff are very nice and friendly. The decor is nice.

Staff have always taken a person-centred approach, making every effort to understand my mother's individual needs and wants. Especially as dementia has exerted its ever-tightening grip but staff have been consistently kind, caring and attentative. Despite their busy, demanding days, the staff still find time to smile, wave and exchange a few cheerful words as they tend to everyone's needs.Staff also work hard to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for visitors, appreciated when we too are adapting to this unfamiliar environment. Staff are welcoming, reassuring and proactive in providing support and advice. While my mother lacks the capacity to involve herself in activities, every effort is made to include her on some sensory level, be it the opportunity to sit outside over summer and feel the suns warmth or hear trees rustling. My mothers sense of taste is certainly being stimulated by the plentiful and wide-ranging food available.

AS, daughter of resident, November 2018, The Old Downs Residential Care Home.

My mum went into Woodstock Residential Care Centre as an emergency and from the very first contact with the home they have been reassuring and caring to my mum, dad and myself. Staff are welcoming and friendly, giving the home a positive vibe. The residents are treated with respect. The rooms are all clean and tidy. When you go to Woodstock you become part of the family. Lovely, lovely home.
