We are very happy with Abbotsleigh Care Centre…

We are very happy with Abbotsleigh Care Centre and more so my mother seems happy. The centre is spotless and there is always someone around cleaning. The staff are all friendly and approachable. I have been offered a cup of tea on all my visits and nothing seems too much trouble for them. My mother enjoys sitting in the lounge and she also enjoys all the food.

Peace of mind she is looked after 24 hours a day…

Would highly recommend (and have) Bromley Park to anyone who has the worry of their loved ones having to go into care. The staff become like family, they show much love and care for your family member, my Mum has only been in a couple of months but it feels like she has always been there, when it was her birthday a beautiful cake was made and everyone gathered round to sing her "Happy Birthday". We are always told of how the day has been and the activity they have done, Mum's speech was not very good before but being with people that talk to her all the time she has made a happy progress. Although Mum is not aware of how good things are it is my Peace of mind she is looked after 24 hours a day.

I liked everything about it...

I chose Hengist Field before my wife was admitted and I liked everything about it, i.e the staff, the cleanliness, the security, the outside gardens and the happy atmosphere that everyone seemed to have.

My wife was welcomed like a family member...

My wife was welcomed like a family member when she arrived. The formalities were addressed without concern. When I collected her at the end of her respite stay a number of staff members came to wish her well, not only the one dealing with her departure. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed looking after her. She was quite happy and pleased with their concern.

Good quality food and drink...

Mum has been in Lukestone since the start of December last year, and is now starting to settle in, has made a group of friends and takes part in activities provided. She is safe, warm and I know she has her medication regularly and good quality food and drink.

Very pleased with the level of care and kindness he receives…

My father has been here since January this year and we are very pleased with the level of care and kindness he receives from all the staff, in what is often a challenging environment. We are aware of all the work that goes on "behind the scenes" by the staff for all the residents. Any issues or concerns have been dealt with immediately and professionally by a very caring manage

All the staff are brilliant…

All the staff are brilliant. They got my Grandad back on his feet after a broken knee. They are so supportive and provide excellent, person centred care. Good events and very accommodating. Well done to all the staff and thank you very much.

Such a wonderful, safe environment…

My father has a difficult dementia. The staff are professional, kind, compassionate, loving, fun and respectful. Their care of my father has taken such a huge weight off me and the family knowing he's being cared for in such a wonderful, safe environment. The staff talk to and treat me with such kindness and understanding of the effect this horrible disease has on the family too. I will be forever grateful to Princess Christian Care Centre, a wonderful place because it's run by a fantastic manager and his fab staff.

Silverpoint Court has been first class….

The quality of care given to my Mother since she has been resident at Silverpoint Court has been first class. I have, in the course of my work, visited many care homes and very few appear to show the same standards exhibited.

The activities offered are excellent…

My mother has been at Sonya Lodge for 8 months now and I am very happy with the care she receives. Mum's dementia can cause her to get very anxious and frightened at times but the staff are all wonderful with her, giving her lots of reassurance and one-to-one time whenever needed. She is treated with dignity, respect and kindness and I know she is safe and very well looked after. She has regained her appetite since being in the home and enjoys her food again which is lovely to see. The activities offered are excellent and mum particularly enjoys the music and dancing, which I like to go along to and join in with her. I am kept very well informed about mum's care and the staff always make me feel so welcome during my visits. I would say that Sonya Lodge feels like a home-from-home as far as is possible, which is thanks to the brilliant staff

My wife found St Winifreds and mother moved there – thank god

My mother's health took a turn for the worse and she needed to leave her flat in Ramsgate. She was in and out of hospital for several months had respite in a hospital. Went home and was back in hospital quickly. She went into another care home for several days but it was a desperate place. My wife found St Winifreds and mother moved there – thank god!

I have been impressed with the wonderful level of care and attention...

My Dad is 89, with moderate but increasing dementia, and just about managing to remain in his own home with his wife, also in her late 80s. Dad has spent two separate weeks recently at Old Downs, to give his wife a short respite from his care needs. I have visited Dad daily, at various times of the day. On each occasion, I have been impressed with the wonderful level of care and attention he has received from all the staff. Every person has treated Dad with utmost respect and compassion, holding his hand, speaking gently with him and listening to him. This might be the lady with the tea trolley, any of the care/activities staff, whether in the lounges, the dining room, or at Reception. Dad has a sense of humour & he has clearly enjoyed the relaxed chit-chat with all the staff. Everybody knew Dad's name, and he was welcomed back on his repeat visit like a member of the family. The staff are kind and gentle with Dad, giving him choices and suggestions to fill his time. I am very grateful.

They treat all the residents with dignity, respect and genuine affection...

The staff at Woodstock are all very welcoming and friendly. They treat all the residents with dignity, respect and genuine affection. My mum settled in on day one – something I would never have believed unless I had seen it. Mum calls it 'her home' as if she's always been there. It's amazing how many activity days there are, with families and friends always made welcome. For the very first time in years, I have been able to relax when I'm not with mum knowing that she's getting the best possible care available.
