Caring with compassion since 1988

We are very proud of the care services and support we provide to our residents and their families across our 13 Care Homes in Kent, Surrey and Essex. We really value feedback from those who have experienced our Homes first-hand as this helps us to continually develop and improve.

Abbotsleigh Care Home, Staplehurst

My mum was only at Abbotsleigh for a short time, but she was so well cared for. She died with dignity. The staff were so lovely to me and my family as well as my mum. My mum was washed and had clean clothes every day, the room was clean and always smelt nice.

Bromley Park Care Home, Bromley

My wife spent eleven months at Bromley Park Care Home. Throughout, I was always impressed with the care provided to all residents. I visited three times a week at random times and I only have positive thoughts about the care shown to every resident.

Hengist Field Care Home, Sittingbourne

I have decided to keep my sister here in Hengist Field because the care, love and cleanliness are second-to-none. It is a very nice Care Home and I can go home and know that my sister is safe and that she is fully cared for, for her dignity and her welfare. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to achieve this.

Loose Valley Care Home, Maidstone

My dad has gone to Loose Valley for respite care and I have been very impressed by how the team has worked so hard to make him welcome. He had not seen my mum for nine months and with the team's help, we were able to get them together this week which was wonderful. Thank you for all the help you have given me and my dad in this time of change.

Lukestone Care Home, Maidstone

My mother was only at Lukestone Care Home for a couple of months. During that time, we found the service provided very good. The staff were always polite and attentive, and the management was always very professional and informative. Her needs were met throughout her time there. The activities for the residents are excellent and varied. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service provided. Thank you.

Lulworth House Residential Care Home, Maidstone

Mum has been at Lulworth House since the summer of 2023. At first, she went in for respite care but settled in so well that she is now a permanent resident. We picked Lulworth, as from the first conversation through to mum's arrival, the team were kind and thoughtful to her needs, and she loved the room that she was staying in. I am always made to feel welcome by the team when I visit. I can come and go as I wish, and mum always seems to be happy and involved in an activity. Not only has she settled in, but is thriving with the additional stimulus. Mum has always loved cooking and home-cooked food which was part of our decision to pick Lulworth. She really enjoys the food and also the cooking activities. It's nice to join her for some of these activities, quizzes etc, so we can spend quality time together. I feel that she is well cared for, safe and happy. Thank you all for the care you have given her so far.

Meyer House Care Home, Dartford

I cannot express more how impressed I am with the care and respect you have shown my mother-in-law. She is so happy at your Care Home. I have found the place to be clean and welcoming. The staff couldn't be kinder and friendlier. Ten out of ten.

Princess Christian Care Home, Surrey

Mum was well looked after in Pirbright Unit for almost three years. She had a nice room which was always kept spotlessly clean. She was kept looking her best at all times by affectionate personal carers. She was kept active and entertained by an energetic and imaginative activities team, but allowed quiet time to herself when she chose. Mum was well fed by a creative catering team. Her health was carefully maintained by dedicated nurses. Finally, when mum passed, aged 99, everything possible was done to ensure that she did so in a dignified and peaceful way. In short, Princess Christian provided all that I could have asked for in a care home in which mum was to spend her final years.

Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home, Essex

Our auntie has been treated with dignity since she has been here. During her stay, the staff have managed to clear a leg ulcer that she previously had for over six years. She has also been encouraged to do tasks like personal hygiene and dressing herself. The activities that are organised are very thoughtful and help and encourage the residents. I am full of admiration for the staff that are marvellous.

Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, Dartford

Mum moved to Sonya Lodge just before Christmas 2022, following the Home she was in closing down. When we were looking for a good Care Home we were very lucky to find Sonya Lodge. All of the staff are very kind to our whole family and they understand how hard it is to leave a loved one with strangers. Mum is now part of the Sonya Lodge family. Mum gets lots of attention from the staff who are always ready to chat and spend time with her. The food I am told is very good. When it was mum's birthday we celebrated in the 'Forget Me Not' room in the garden at the Care Home where tea, coffee making and biscuits were provided. Recently, mum had a spell in hospital and she was very down, however, as soon as she returned to Sonya Lodge, she immediately started to perk up and soon returned to her old self. Overall, we have had a very positive experience with Sonya Lodge.

St Winifreds Care Home, Deal

The staff were so kind to my father-in-law as he was at the end of his life. They kept him comfortable and pain-free. They also really looked after my mother-in-law when she visited, showing such care and compassion. We could not have asked for more in such sad circumstances.

The Old Downs Residential Care Home, Dartford

Having spent respite care at The Old Downs I feel fortunate my husband was accepted to remain in residential Alzheimer's care. He settled in so well and this is due to the ambience of the Home, the professional care he receives and all the staff who go above and beyond to socialise with every resident. I am always made so welcome when I visit my husband and when we sit together in the conservatory or weather permitting the garden overlooking the downs, we both feel content. Thank you to all concerned for making this possible after what has been a stressful 10+ years on my husband's Alzheimer's journey.

Patricia L, wife of resident, September 2023, The Old Downs Residential Care Home

Woodstock Residential Care Home, Sittingbourne

My mother has been in the Care Home for just over a year. You cannot fault the friendliness, standard of care and support given by all of the staff to the residents and family members. My mum enjoys the meals, but especially the cups of tea. She is settled and well looked after.
