On Wednesday 14 November, our Recreation & Wellbeing Champions Janet and Jasper took a group of our residents from Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home to Ruxley Manor Garden Centre in Sidcup.
Known for their fantastic Christmas displays, it was wonderful to view Ruxley Manor’s amazing nativity scenes and visit their themed decorations department, which had everything from delicate baubles to singing Santas!
As part of the trip, residents took to the ice on the Centre’s own ice rink! It was so much fun and our ladies loved the experience. The trip was rounded off with a stop in the cafe, for a warming cuppa! A thoroughly enjoyable outing.
