Service for Christmas
On Tuesday 11 December, the lovely Reverend Jim visited The Old Downs Residential Care Home and conducted a wonderful Christmas service for our residents.
Our ladies and gentlemen enjoyed listening and joining in with Reverend Jim while sipping sherry and enjoying mince pies! It was a lovely afternoon.
Getting Christmas ready
Also on Tuesday 11 December, some of our residents wanted to create some of their own Christmas decorations to add to our other ones. They made wonderful Christmas wreaths with card, stickers and other bits and pieces.
The residents really are enjoying getting ready for Christmas and also excited about our upcoming party, which without a doubt, will be the best one yet!
