We were very pleased to welcome a lovely group of young adults from the Princes Trust to Woodstock Residential Care Home on Wednesday 26 June.
The Princes Trust is a youth charity that helps young people get more experience in the community and build up their confidence working with others.
The group of 13 volunteers arrived in the morning to meet our residents and staff. They served tea and coffee and enjoyed playing games with our ladies and gents – from dominoes to target ball games.
Our residents also painted stones with the group which they can enjoy hiding out in the local community at a later date.
We all thoroughly enjoyed hosting the Princes Trust team and loved seeing them building friendships during their visit. We wish them all well with their future projects and volunteering.
