It was National ‘Bring your Dog to Work Day’ on Friday 21 June, so Business Support Officer Amanda decided to take the opportunity to get some extra help in the office at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, in the form of her lovely dog Roxi.
Roxi is a long haired Jack Russell who accompanies Amanda to work every day, something Amanda feels very fortunate about;
“I am very lucky to have the opportunity to have Roxi with me all the time. She will often been seen hiding in our new blue lounge or even in meetings that I minute! She will just curl up and go to sleep. Our residents associate me as ‘the lady with the dog at work’!”
Amanda often takes Roxi out into the lounges to see our ladies and gents; Roxi enjoys giving kisses on our residents’ hands and of course having cuddles!
She really is part of the Sonya Lodge family.
