I have been extremely impressed with the way St Winifreds has handled this pandemic. At the beginning, they closed down visiting a few weeks before the actual lockdown, which was hard but very sensible. They have had very strict rules and no residents have caught the virus, the girls there have been keeping residents entertained and even has a carer that has been singing to them and learning more songs to keep them entertained. I know all of this because every week the Manager emails a newsletter tellings us what’s going on and keeping us up to date, we also have pictures of our relatives, which are lovely to see after so long. I am very happy my mother is there, the girls (and boys) are all so lovely, I phone regularly and the staff are always happy to take my calls.
