The Manager let us use Abbotsleigh to celebrate my mum’s 100th Birthday. We had a lovely party on Sunday with all her family around her. The food Chef prepared was delicious and plentiful and certainly saved us from a lot of work preparing it all. The Chef even gave up his day off and came in especially to prepare the party food. The food was delicious and all the partygoers thoroughly enjoyed it. Then on Monday, it felt like we were having a second party with enjoying lunch with her, the entertainer and a second birthday cake! We are very grateful to you all. In fact, we are very grateful for everything the staff did for us not only for Sunday and Monday but for their ongoing devotion and care to the residents. We feel confident that Mum is safe and well looked after and have no doubt that their plans for the future will bring even more success. It really does feel now like a “home away from home” and there’s no better description can you give than that!
