Dear Karen, Matthew and All staff.
I am writing to express my sincere thanks to you all. It is sad that Mum has passed away but a comfort knowing you made her final weeks comfortable and pain free.
When choosing a Home for Mum I was convinced it was people that mattered for her. She arrived with you just a short time ago but you made her feel so important and part of your family. She was always treated with care, dignity and respect by all. More importantly, with a smile! I knew I’d made the right choice.
Every member of staff knew her by name and took time with her when she was struggling to explain herself.
She always looked clean, so important to her, and well dressed. She’d never worn nail polish before but was so pleased to show it off. All these little things are what make your Home very special.
Equally important was the time you gave me and other family members when they visited. We were never made to feel we were a nuisance whatever time we arrived. In fact the opposite’ tea, biscuits and compassion readily available at all times. I’ll miss that!
