My mother came to Princess Christian in the summer of 2016 straight from hospital. The manager visited her there and to our great relief, agreed she could come and live there. She had previously been refused by other homes, she was on palliative care only and was not expected to live more than 3 months. Although she had dementia, she thrived physically, put on weight and became stronger. Initially in Bisley and later on in Knaphill units. The care she received was second to none. Her passing was handled with dignity, compassion and excellent care. We could not have asked for better and thank all the staff who cared so much.
