My aunt came into the care home during the COVID-19 pandemic – this was a difficult time for all. As a family, the Home showed compassion and high standards of keeping my auntie safe. We have regular updated and managed visits and Zoom calls. My aunt has developed a good relationship with her carers and settled in well. My aunt has dementia, so she can become confused and agitated at times, but the staff give her the reassurance she needs, and she’s even beginning to join in the activities.
