My mother is treated with the utmost kindness and respect by the staff at The Old Downs. She is given all the help and support she requires. I have peace of mind that she is safe and well cared for. The activities coordinator is excellent always marking the yearly calendar of events and coming up with ideas and entertainment to engage the residents. The building is old and so services such as the heating and supply of water etc seem to have failings from time to time. It is important that the maintenance is kept up. The staff at the Old Down’s are it’s greatest asset.
