Last week, we celebrated ‘Burns Day’ with food tasting here at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
Burns Night is celebrated on or near the 25 January every year in Scotland to give recognition to Robert Burns, the writer and poet who is best known for creating ‘Auld Lang Syne’.
Our residents really enjoyed wearing their Scottish hats and sampling some haggis. You can see from our photos that their reactions were a little mixed!!
