On Tuesday 22 January, a ‘Music for Health’ instructor came in to see us at Woodstock Residential Care Home to hold a seated exercise class for our residents.
Music for Health run interactive music workshops which bring uplifting music and movement into in care homes across the UK.
Our ladies and gents loved it! They knew all the songs and really enjoyed the fitness too, which was made fun with accessories such as tambourines and glittery pom poms!
Doing exercises from the warmth of a chair is a great way for our residents to keep active safely and comfortably. It’s also a super way to socialise.
We’re very much looking forward to their return visit next month.
