My Father came to live at Abbotsleigh Care Centre in September. When looking around, we noticed the friendly atmosphere, and the manager took the time to find out about dad and show us around personally. There are 3 activities co-ordinators on my dad’s floor, a great resource. There are no offensive smells at all, there is always a cleaner each day, keeping the home clean and fresh. All the staff are extremely polite, cheerful and kind. Dad seems truly happy at Abbotsleigh. It is always so hard to see a loved one needing to move away from their own home, but Abbotsleigh really is a ‘home from home’. Dad says ‘it’s very nice here. I really like it ‘, which is such a weight off our minds, knowing that he is content and not worried. The staff go out of their way to make sure all the little details of dad’s needs are met. They always inform us if anything new has happened re dad’s care. I really cannot praise Abbotsleigh enough and would recommend it to anyone.
