I wanted to write and say just what a difference Dee has made to the communication experience with our mother over this difficult time.
Our understanding is that Dee’s position has been funded by Nellsar to assist through the pandemic and to increase the interaction with the tripartite of the resident, their family and the Care Home. In our opinion this has shown great care, foresight and understanding of just how difficult the situation we find ourselves in.
Dee is an absolute joy to deal with and has a brilliant manner with our mother, who we appreciate has her challenges. She is proactive in her approach to creating situations that will give a much better experience for all involved. Her manner with our mother is always so kind and caring, despite our mother’s frame of mind, and she really does a super job in playing intermediary between us when there are hearing challenges!
We genuinely think this has been a brilliant step that the Nellsar team have taken and wanted to formally write with our feedback.
We also understand the day-to-day care from the Care staff she receives is excellent – a big ongoing thank you for all of their efforts on a daily basis, we do appreciate all their effort.
Who would have thought that when she became a resident at St Winifreds some ten months ago that we would have experienced this world crisis, but you guys really have risen to the challenge.
Here’s hoping for better days when we can hug our dearest relatives once again.
