Here at Woodstock Residential Care Home, we had a wonderful afternoon tea party on Friday 1 February to mark Dignity Day 2019 with delicious sandwiches and sweet treats.
Our residents really enjoyed playing a game of “Play Your Cards Right” – a popular game made famous by Bruce Forsyth.
We also held a special ‘Oasis Dignity Café‘ with the help of five local college students came into our Home to serve tea, coffee and homemade cakes to our residents.
The Oasis Café is put together by 6th-formers of Oasis School, who volunteer their time and put a lot of heart and effort into making sure that everyone who attends has a lovely time.
