Nellsar Care Homes are very proud to publish three issues of our group newsletter ‘Nellsar News’ each year and issue 12 is out today.
This issue features the regular Message from the MD, Martin Barrett, along with the latest Coronavirus Update. Martin also presents a self-penned article on ‘Why 2022 is the year to start a career in care’ – take a look!
Without our wonderful teams of staff across our group of 13 Homes, we couldn’t continue as one of the South East’s leading care providers. Issue 12 brings an insight into three of our staff who are furthering their skills with apprenticeships or diplomas, and our very own Learning and Development Manager’s Queen’s Nurse Award achievement.
As a Dementia care specialist and proud supporter of the Alzheimer’s Society, Nellsar gets behind members of staff who take on charity fundraising ventures. Hear from our Recreation and Well-Being Manager on her sponsored walk for the worthy cause, and how three staff at one of our Homes raised money for Alzheimer’s with a Glow-Walk!
It has been a fun-packed few months for our residents and this issue showcases some wonderful photos from a ‘Through the Decades’ 1950s event, Nutrition and Hydration Week, St Patrick’s Day and recent birthdays and celebrations. Our ladies and gents also show their support for Ukraine too – it’s a must-read!
