We’re delighted that our residents enjoyed a truly memorable Father’s Day on Sunday 18 June across our Nellsar Homes, with our teams ensuring our gents felt special as we celebrated the day with loved ones and a range of themed activities.
Residents had fun reminiscing about their fathers and some enjoyed Father’s Day themed quizzes and word searches with visiting relatives.
We saw some lively entertainment in our Homes, including singer Tommy Parsons at Lulworth House who performed a fantastic set of cockney classics, and Maria the belly dancer taking to the dance floor at Princess Christian!
Abbotsleigh residents took a Father’s Day pub trip, whilst Cook Lynn at Woodstock provided delicious cakes stands packed with sandwiches, scones and themed cupcakes. Residents enjoyed themed crafts and a Father’s Day beer trolley no less! There was cheese and wine, plus chocolate gifts for our gents at Silverpoint Court, who had fun playing darts and air hockey together.
The Meyer House team gave out gifts to all their gents and shared uplifting Father’s Day affirmations: ‘You are amazing. You are important. You are special. You are loved.’
