From tea at the Ritz to tea at Abbotsleigh Care Home ‘ you can’t beat the quintessentially British tradition of an afternoon Cream Tea. Freshly baked scones, clotted cream and sweet strawberry jam with a lovely cup of tea; Our Activities Co-Ordinator hosted a wonderful Cream Tea afternoon on Wednesday 27 May as a special treat for our residents.
With beautiful weather as our backdrop, residents enjoyed bathing in the sunshine on our south facing decking to the front of our Home. Plenty of sun cream and sun hats all round, everyone throughly enjoyed their treat and there were lots of smiles.
National Afternoon Tea Week is only two months away (Monday 10 – Sunday 16 August 2015) and we are sure to host a few more Cream Tea Afternoons between now and then, but if you would like to join us for a cuppa anytime, please get in touch using the details below.
